Hazardous Materials Management
Monitoring and managing the asbestos risk for agencies that own building assets includes inspection of sites and maintaining asbestos management registers for a large number of government buildings. Through specialist contractors Asbestos Services, a group within DPTI Building Management division, will project manage the removal of asbestos and other hazardous materials.
Asbestos Services:
- conducts building audits
- produces asbestos registers
- conducts annual inspections in relation to asbestos products and synthetic mineral fibres
- provides an advisory service to government agencies and the public
- manages the safe removal of asbestos and other hazardous materials.
