KEY FACTS:

39 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2016, compared with 37 during 2015.

9 people have been killed to date in MAY 2016.

6 fatalities were males and 3 were females.

8 were vehicle occupants and 1 was a cyclist.

To date in MAY 2016, there were 6 fatalities in the country and 3 in Adelaide.

Of the 9 fatal crashes to date in MAY 2016, 5 involved a single vehicle and 4 involved more than one vehicle.

All 9 crashes involved a single fatality.

The 3 heavy vehicle fatal crashes involved Car Sedan/Truck, Bdouble, Car Sedan/Semitrailer.

The utility_van fatal crash involved Station Wagon/Utility_Van.
