ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

411 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2021, compared with 337 during 2020.

69 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2021.

48 serious injuries were males and 21 were females.

37 were vehicle occupants, 15 were motorcycle riders, 9 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 8 were pedestrians.

In JUNE 2021, there were 28 serious injuries in the country and 41 in Adelaide.

Of the 60 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2021, 36 involved a single vehicle and 24 involved more than one vehicle.
57 crashes involved a single serious injury and 3 involved multiple serious injuries.
