KEY FACTS:

230 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2021, compared with 207 during 2020.

76 people have been seriously injured in MARCH 2021.

55 serious injuries were males and 21 were females.

40 were vehicle occupants, 15 were bicycle or e-scooter riders, 12 were motorcycle riders and 9 were pedestrians.

In MARCH 2021, there were 20 serious injuries in the country and 56 in Adelaide.

Of the 64 serious injury crashes in MARCH 2021, 36 involved a single vehicle and 28 involved more than one vehicle.
60 crashes involved a single serious injury and 4 involved multiple serious injuries.
