KEY FACTS:

196 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 185 during 2019.

68 people have been seriously injured in MARCH 2020.

47 serious injuries were males and 21 were females.

35 were vehicle occupants, 23 were motorcycle riders, 8 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 2 were pedestrians.

In MARCH 2020, there were 28 serious injuries in the country and 40 in Adelaide.

Of the 57 serious injury crashes in MARCH 2020, 26 involved a single vehicle and 31 involved more than one vehicle.
54 crashes involved a single serious injury and 3 involved multiple serious injuries.
