KEY FACTS:

373 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2019, compared with 288 during 2018.

64 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2019.

41 serious injuries were males and 23 were females.

39 were vehicle occupants, 12 were pedestrians, 9 were motorcycle riders and 4 were cyclists.

In JUNE 2019, there were 16 serious injuries in the country and 48 in Adelaide.

Of the 53 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2019, 30 involved a single vehicle and 23 involved more than one vehicle.
47 crashes involved a single serious injury and 6 involved multiple serious injuries.
