KEY FACTS:

334 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2021, compared with 290 during 2020.

61 people have been seriously injured in MAY 2021.

37 serious injuries were males and 24 were females.

33 were vehicle occupants, 14 were motorcycle riders, 8 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 6 were pedestrians.

In MAY 2021, there were 15 serious injuries in the country and 46 in Adelaide.

Of the 56 serious injury crashes in MAY 2021, 28 involved a single vehicle and 28 involved more than one vehicle.
51 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
