ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

128 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 103 during 2019.

68 people have been seriously injured in FEBRUARY 2020.

55 serious injuries were males and 13 were females.

30 were vehicle occupants, 24 were motorcycle riders, 8 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 6 were pedestrians.

In FEBRUARY 2020, there were 19 serious injuries in the country and 49 in Adelaide.

Of the 64 serious injury crashes in FEBRUARY 2020, 34 involved a single vehicle and 30 involved more than one vehicle.
62 crashes involved a single serious injury and 2 involved multiple serious injuries.
