ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

743 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2019, compared with 524 during 2018.

85 people have been seriously injured in NOVEMBER 2019.

52 serious injuries were males and 33 were females.

54 were vehicle occupants, 17 were motorcycle riders, 9 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 5 were pedestrians.

In NOVEMBER 2019, there were 25 serious injuries in the country and 60 in Adelaide.

Of the 73 serious injury crashes in NOVEMBER 2019, 33 involved a single vehicle and 40 involved more than one vehicle.
67 crashes involved a single serious injury and 6 involved multiple serious injuries.
