KEY FACTS:

60 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 54 during 2019.

60 people have been seriously injured in JANUARY 2020.

34 serious injuries were males and 26 were females.

40 were vehicle occupants, 13 were motorcycle riders, 4 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 3 were pedestrians.

In JANUARY 2020, there were 20 serious injuries in the country and 40 in Adelaide.

Of the 48 serious injury crashes in JANUARY 2020, 22 involved a single vehicle and 26 involved more than one vehicle.
40 crashes involved a single serious injury and 8 involved multiple serious injuries.
