ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

515 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2019, compared with 390 during 2018.

82 people have been seriously injured in AUGUST 2019.

57 serious injuries were males and 25 were females.

58 were vehicle occupants, 11 were motorcycle riders, 7 were pedestrians and 6 were bicycle or e-scooter riders.

In AUGUST 2019, there were 34 serious injuries in the country and 48 in Adelaide.

Of the 69 serious injury crashes in AUGUST 2019, 35 involved a single vehicle and 34 involved more than one vehicle.
59 crashes involved a single serious injury and 10 involved multiple serious injuries.
