KEY FACTS:

237 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2019, compared with 198 during 2018.

52 people have been seriously injured in APRIL 2019.

35 serious injuries were males and 17 were females.

22 were vehicle occupants, 14 were motorcycle riders, 9 were cyclists and 7 were pedestrians.

In APRIL 2019, there were 7 serious injuries in the country and 45 in Adelaide.

Of the 50 serious injury crashes in APRIL 2019, 20 involved a single vehicle and 30 involved more than one vehicle.
48 crashes involved a single serious injury and 2 involved multiple serious injuries.
