KEY FACTS:

315 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2015, compared with 314 during 2014.

64 people have been seriously injured in MAY 2015.

42 serious injuries were males and 22 were females.
37 were vehicle occupants, 15 were motorcycle riders, 6 were cyclists and 6 were pedestrians.

In MAY 2015, there were 29 serious injuries in the country and 35 in Adelaide.

Of the 56 serious injury crashes in MAY 2015, 36 involved a single vehicle and 20 involved more than one vehicle.
55 crashes involved a single serious injury and 1 involved multiple serious injuries.
