KEY FACTS:

51 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2012, compared with 62 during 2011.

8 people have been killed to date in JUNE 2012.

8 fatalities were males and none were female.

3 were vehicle occupants, 2 were cyclists, 2 were pedestrians and 1 was a motorcycle rider.

To date in JUNE 2012, there were 7 fatalities in the country and 1 in Adelaide.

Of the 8 fatal crashes to date in JUNE 2012, 5 involved a single vehicle and 3 involved more than one vehicle.
All 8 crashes involved a single fatality.

The 2 heavy vehicle fatal crashes involved Truck/Pedal Cycle, Semitrailer/Sign Post.

The 2 utility_van fatal crashes involved Car Sedan/Station Wagon/Utility_Van/Pedestrian on Road, Utility_Van.

The motorcycle fatal crash involved Motorcycle/Other Fixed.
