KEY FACTS:

276 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 309 during 2019.

35 people have been seriously injured in MAY 2020.

26 serious injuries were males and 9 were females.

20 were vehicle occupants, 9 were motorcycle riders, 4 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 2 were pedestrians.

In MAY 2020, there were 11 serious injuries in the country and 24 in Adelaide.

Of the 29 serious injury crashes in MAY 2020, 11 involved a single vehicle and 18 involved more than one vehicle.
27 crashes involved a single serious injury and 2 involved multiple serious injuries.
