KEY FACTS:

233 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 237 during 2019.

37 people have been seriously injured in APRIL 2020.

26 serious injuries were males and 11 were females.

20 were vehicle occupants, 7 were bicycle or e-scooter riders, 6 were motorcycle riders and 4 were pedestrians.

In APRIL 2020, there were 9 serious injuries in the country and 28 in Adelaide.

Of the 36 serious injury crashes in APRIL 2020, 22 involved a single vehicle and 14 involved more than one vehicle.
All 36 crashes involved a single serious injury.
