KEY FACTS:

185 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2019, compared with 139 during 2018.

82 people have been seriously injured in MARCH 2019.

56 serious injuries were males and 26 were females.

51 were vehicle occupants, 23 were motorcycle riders, 7 were cyclists and 1 was a pedestrian.

In MARCH 2019, there were 26 serious injuries in the country and 56 in Adelaide.

Of the 63 serious injury crashes in MARCH 2019, 21 involved a single vehicle and 42 involved more than one vehicle.
52 crashes involved a single serious injury and 11 involved multiple serious injuries.
