KEY FACTS:

286 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2018, compared with 339 during 2017.

47 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2018.

31 serious injuries were males and 16 were females.

34 were vehicle occupants, 5 were cyclists, 4 were motorcycle riders and 4 were pedestrians.

In JUNE 2018, there were 14 serious injuries in the country and 33 in Adelaide.

Of the 39 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2018, 19 involved a single vehicle and 20 involved more than one vehicle.
34 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
