KEY FACTS:

103 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2019, compared with 79 during 2018.

49 people have been seriously injured in FEBRUARY 2019.

35 serious injuries were males and 14 were females.

18 were motorcycle riders, 16 were vehicle occupants, 10 were cyclists and 5 were pedestrians.

In FEBRUARY 2019, there were 20 serious injuries in the country and 29 in Adelaide.

Of the 46 serious injury crashes in FEBRUARY 2019, 27 involved a single vehicle and 19 involved more than one vehicle.
43 crashes involved a single serious injury and 3 involved multiple serious injuries.
