ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

707 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2013, compared with 699 during 2012.

85 people have been seriously injured in NOVEMBER 2013.

48 serious injuries were males and 37 were females.

59 were vehicle occupants, 15 were motorcycle riders, 6 were cyclists and 5 were pedestrians.

In NOVEMBER 2013, there were 39 serious injuries in the country and 44 in Adelaide.

Of the 64 serious injury crashes in NOVEMBER 2013, 31 involved a single vehicle and 33 involved more than one vehicle.
55 crashes involved a single serious injury and 9 involved multiple serious injuries.
