Vale Park Primary School bringing Way2Go into the classroom

Vale Park Primary School students have embraced working with the Way2Go program to promote their school community riding bikes and scooters to and from school each day. After the students recognised a need in their school for undercover bike and scooter storage they used maths and engineering skills to help design and build a new Way2Go funded wheels hub facility. They have also been keen participants in once a term active travel days, while a new emu crossing installed by Way2Go partner the Town of Walkerville has improved access and safety for families travelling to and from school. To learn more about Vale Park Primary School’s Way2Go journey which has resulted in them doubling the number of bikes coming to school each day.
