Renewing our Urban Future – Unlocking South Australia’s Potential sets out the Government’s vision for delivering better cities, towns and regions and provides context for a number of important planning initiatives that are being rolled out over coming months.
It discusses why we need to reform and modernise our planning system and how we will achieve this vision – through focusing more on mixed-use urban infill and better connection between people and places, business and markets; supporting the liveability and activation of our city and regions by attracting investment and making it easier to invest in our state, and ensuring more emphasis and effort is placed on early engagement on strategic directions, plans and policies.
