New Strategic Plan

Having a vibrant recreation and sport sector is fundamental to the quality of life of all South Australians. It contributes to the economy as well as the wellbeing, happiness and lifestyles of our communities.

Most recreation and sport is provided by the community for the community. The Office for Recreation and Sport is a government agency that works alongside the sport and recreation community to help them provide opportunities for all South Australians to get involved.

The Office for Recreation and Sport is drafting a new strategic plan. The plan will identify our key priorities and guide our work for the next 3 years.

This section of the website sets out the process we will be undertaking to develop a new strategic plan, the material that will be considered as part of that process and identifies the opportunities to provide input into the process.

Ausplay Survey

360o Review

In 2015 the ORS invited key stakeholders to provide feedback through a 360o Review. The review included the opportunity to rate both the importance and performance of a range of ORS services and to comment on their strengths and weaknesses. A summary of the feedback collected in 2015 will inform the strategic plan and is provided below:
