We are seeking input from boat owners and users through a quick survey to help inform the South Australian Boating Strategic Plan, which will help boost boating participation and guide investment in maritime infrastructure across the State.
The Department has commenced a project to develop the South Australian Boating Strategic Plan. This new approach to boating infrastructure planning will be guided by extensive consultation with boaters and the local community.
By completing this survey, you will help us collect vital information about your region, your boating habits and how we can improve boating participation and the boating experience in South Australia. It is important for us to capture stakeholders’ opinions and feedback so we can take them into consideration when developing the draft Strategic Plan.
The survey provides you with the opportunity to identify any key issues and provide comments to improve boating access and participation, as well as boating destinations. Importantly there is a section in the survey for you to provide feedback about safety on South Australian waterways.
If you are from an organisation or club, we will consider your response on behalf of your user groups, but you can also complete a separate survey as an individual.
If you are a boater, have your say in this short survey.
The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete and information gathered from the survey will only be used for input into planning the Strategic Plan.
The survey closes on Friday 9 December 2016.
If you have any questions about the survey or would like more information please contact our project team on 1800 810 680 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
