Reminder to register and display rego

Boaters are reminded to ensure they register their boats and display registration numbers and labels correctly.
 
All vessels with an engine must be registered to travel in South Australian waters (including vessels such as sailing and row boats fitted with an auxiliary engine).
 
The regulations require the registration number and label be affixed to the boat.
 
The details on where the registration number should be placed and its size can be found on sa.gov.au
 
The registration label should be securely affixed to the boat next to the steering position and clearly visible to anyone inspecting the boat from aboard.
