A 60-foot fishing vessel that grounded on a beach at Victor Harbor has been refloated.
The boat ended up on a beach near Granite Island following a night of strong 30 plus knot winds.
It appears the Predator 2 broke its moorings on Thursday night (1 March) and drifted before grounding on a sandy beach near the Granite Island causeway.
The vessel was largely undamaged and the department worked with police and sea rescue to secure and refloat it on the next high tide.
