The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises that the Streaky Bay Jetty shelter has been closed as a result of safety concerns.

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises that the Streaky Bay Jetty shelter has been closed as a result of safety concerns.

A condition assessment has found that key structural elements of the shelter, which is located next to the Streaky Bay Jetty, are in an advanced state of deterioration and require repair works.

The Streaky Bay Jetty will not be impacted by the closure.

Repair works are scheduled for late in the year, with the shelter to remain closed until the works are completed.

DPTI advises the public to please take care around the site and appreciates the community’s patience and co-operation during this period.
