Kangaroo Island’s Sealink’s SeaLion 2000 ferry is set to receive a major overhaul, The KI Islander reports.
The company is investing $2.2 million in the SeaLion 2000, which includes the complete replacement of the engines and air conditioning units and a repaint.
The works will be carried out in Port Adelaide and Western Australia, where the vessel was built 15 years ago.
A revised timetable will be in operation between June 12 and September 6 while the vessel is in for the works.
