A series of internationally peer-reviewed science reports determining the environmental water requirements of the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth were released in July.
The Environmental Water Requirements of the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth reports identify the flow regime needed from the Murray-Darling Basin to maintain the site as a healthy and resilient wetland of international importance.
The reports will be used by the State Government to assess and determine its response to the soon to be released draft Murray Darling Basin Plan.
It will also be used to develop the Long-Term Plan for the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth.
