SOUTH AUSTRALIA – KANGAROO ISLAND – CHRISTMAS COVE – REDUCED WATER DEPTHS

Mariners are advised that the water depths at the entrance to the Christmas Cove marina and boat ramp near Penneshaw have been reduced. The water depths near the entrance are approximately 0.7 metres below Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT) as at 28 October 2020, and are likely to be reduced further over the coming months due to continuous sand ingress.

Dredging works to restore the water depths are to be scheduled.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
