Traffic changes at Tonsley Boulevard/South Road intersection, St Marys

21 November 2018
As part of the Darlington Upgrade Project, traffic changes will be in effect at the South Road intersection with Tonsley Boulevard at the following dates and times:
- Saturday, 24 November, from 6am – 6pm
- Sunday, 25 November, from 6am – 6pm
- Saturday, 1 December, from 6am – 6pm
- Sunday, 2 December, from 6am – 6pm
Northbound and southbound traffic on South Road through the work site will be reduced to one lane.
Access at Tonsley Boulevard will be restricted to a left turn in and left turn out only. Motorists exiting Tonsley Boulevard and wanting to head south will be required to use an alternative route.
These changes are required for the installation of concrete beams for the new Tonsley Boulevard bridge.
Traffic delays can be expected and signage will be in place to alert motorists to changed traffic conditions. Please plan ahead and consider using an alternative route.
Works may also be undertaken over the weekend of 8-9 December if required.

We thank motorists for their patience while these important works are undertaken.
