Temporary closure of Old Norton Summit Road and Lobethal Road due to storm water damage repairs

20 December 2017
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) will be conducting storm water repairs on Old Norton Summit Road in January 2018.
The works were originally set to commence in late 2017, however this was postponed following community feedback.
To undergo these repairs, Old Norton Summit Road will be intermittently closed between Norton Summit Road, Magill, and Lobethal Road, Norton Summit during January 2018.
In addition, maintenance works will occur on Lobethal Road, requiring it to be temporarily closed between Marble Hill Road and Basket Range Road, from February 2018 until mid March 2018.
The works will generally be undertaken during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, however some night works may be required.
Road users will be provided with advance notice by on-site signage. In the event of extreme weather such as bushfire or severe storm, these works will be rescheduled accordingly.
For further information, please telephone DPTI at 1300 794 880 or email dpti.communityrelations@sa.gov.au
DPTI thanks road users for their patience while these important safety works are undertaken.
