Seaford Line Essential Maintenance Works

14 June 2017
Public transport users are advised that night works will be conducted on the Seaford line from Sunday, 18 June through to and including Wednesday, 21 June 2017.
During this period, the following scheduled rail services to and from Adelaide will be replaced with substitute bus services to allow essential rail maintenance and improvement works to occur.
The following rail services will be affected:
- Adelaide to Seaford at 11:00pm
- Adelaide to Seaford at 12:00am
- Seaford to Adelaide at 11:00pm
Works need to be undertaken when no trains are operating to ensure public and worker safety due to the need for track access.
There are a number of activities being undertaken including rail, vegetation management and electrical works to maximise work that can be done during a rail closure.
Please note that at times some maintenance activities may require more time to complete due to the complex nature of the tasks.
Substitute bus services will be in place during the temporary Seaford line closure. Please call the Adelaide Metro InfoLine on 1300 311 108 or visit www.adelaidemetro.com.au.
DPTI thanks public transport users for their patience while these works are undertaken.
