Port River Expressway night works extension

24 January 2017
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) advises the night works occurring on the Port River Expressway between Hanson Road and Magazine Road as part of the Northern Connector Project have been extended until 6am Wednesday 25 January 2017, due to recent rain.
This includes continued works on service investigations, asphalt works and the installation of temporary concrete safety barriers.
Works will continue to take place between the hours of 7pm and 6am with all lanes of the expressway fully restored for motorists each morning.
The Port River Expressway remains open to traffic in both directions at all times, with a 25 km/h speed restriction in place while workers are on site. Lane and other speed restrictions may apply subject to on site conditions.
Signage and traffic management is in place to advise motorists of the changed traffic conditions.
Thank you for your patience whilst these important works are undertaken.
