Service SA has now resumed Learner Theory Testing, with suitable COVID-19 safety provisions in place.
If you would like to make a booking, please call 13 10 84. This includes testing in regional Customer Service Centres and for overseas licence holders. Walk-in tests will not be accepted at this time.
Testing will be limited as per available space in each centre to ensure social distancing protocols can be followed, with no more than one person per 4 square metres. Additional cleaning of equipment and adjacent areas will also take place. We are expecting significant demand for bookings, and request your patience while we work to return this service in a safe manner.
Other assessment services, including the Hazard Perception Test, Rider Safe courses and Boat Licence Test, as well as professional driver training and testing, remain suspended at this time.
However, the current exemption for Hazard Perception Testing remains in place, allowing learner drivers to advance to their provisional licence if they meet all other conditions.
