Notice to Mariners No. 16 of 2024 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – OFFSHORE ADELAIDE – INVESTIGATOR STRAIT – HYDROGRAPHIC GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYING

Mariners are advised that vessel ‘MV Samson Explorer’ will be conducting hydrographic and geophysical survey operations around Offshore Adelaide and Investigator Strait, in waters out to the approximate 300m water depth contour. Activities will include towing surveying equipment off the stern of the vessel.

The operations are schedule to take place approximately 4 April 2024 to 13 May 2024, works will be conducted 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

34° 56.301'S 138° 29.203'E

35° 36.421'S 135° 57.960'E

35° 59.723'S 135° 40.980'E

36° 06.383'S 135° 46.917'E

35° 44.181'S 136° 07.169'E

35° 34.341'S 137° 11.643'E

35° 19.498'S 138° 07.144'E

34° 59.149'S 138° 30.405'E

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when transiting the area and keep well clear of the operations.
