Notice to Mariners No. 1 of 2024 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – SPENCER GULF – PORT AUGUSTA CHANNEL – LIGHTS NOT WORKING

Mariners are advised that the following navigation lights located in the Port Augusta channel between Blanche Harbor and Commissariat Point in Spencer Gulf are not working:

Beacon No. 9 – starboard – 32° 42’ 50.65”S, 137° 48’ 57.80”E – Fl G 2s
Beacon No. 13 – starboard – 32° 39’ 36.30”S, 137° 46’ 18.26”E – Fl G 4s
Beacon No. 15 – starboard – 32° 38’ 59.67”S, 137° 46’ 09.10”E – Fl G 2s
Beacon No. 18 – port – 32° 36’ 11.10”S, 137° 46’ 16.86”E – Fl R 4s

The lights will be replaced by end of February 2024 approximately.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
