Notice to Mariners No. 69 of 2023 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – VHF EMERGENCY MARINE RADIO (CHANNEL 16 AND 67) OUTAGE NOTIFICATION

Mariners are advised that there have been alerts of possible outages affecting the South Australian Emergency Marine Radio Network (VHF Ch 16 and Ch 67). If issues persist loss of Maritime Voice service may be intermittent or unavailable.

The matter is being investigated as a priority and the point of issue will be amended as soon as possible.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and consider alternate means of emergency communication.
