Notice to Mariners No. 68 of 2023 (Temporary)

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – SPENCER GULF – POINT BONYTHON – RESEARCH EQUIPMENT DEPLOYED

Mariners are advised that research equipment is being deployed off the coast of Point Bonython within the Spencer Gulf located approximately 33°00'14.4" S 137°47'20.4" E.

Equipment will be deployed from 21 November 2023 and is due to be removed November 2024.

Structures are on triangular frame with 1.2 m base sitting 1.5 m off the seafloor.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
