HARBORS AND NAVIGATION ACT 1993

SOUTH AUSTRALIA – SOUTH EAST – BEACHPORT – NAVIGATION LIGHT NOT WORKING

Mariners are advised that the navigation light (Fl WR 4s, range 6 nm W and 4 nm R) in position 37° 29’ 12.44”S 140° 01’ 16.36”E located at the end of the Beachport jetty will not be operational for approximately one week (weather permitting) commencing Sunday 9 July 2023 due to restoration works being undertaken on the jetty.

A temporary all-round yellow light, Fl Y 4s, range 1-2 nm, will be installed at the end of the jetty while the sectored light is not operational.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area.
