SOUTH AUSTRALIA - GULF ST VINCENT – PORT ADELAIDE – BEACON 4
Mariners are advised that Beacon 4, located in Port Adelaide’s Main Shipping Channel, has fallen over, and is lying on the seabed, outside the shipping channel. The beacon will be removed by divers and a replacement beacon installed at the earliest opportunity.

Beacon 4 has been marked with a virtual beacon (AToN).

A large red marker buoy will be installed temporarily until the replacement navigation aid is installed.
Characteristics: FL (1)R 2s
This beacon uses a different GPS signal to the other main shipping channel lights and will NOT be synchronised with these lights.
Mariners are advised to exercise caution when navigating in the vicinity.
