Gather Round! Don’t miss a kick with free public transport for Adelaide’s ultimate footy festival

Travel to every Gather Round AFL game FREE on public transport as the South Australian Government delivers fans a historic festival of footy from 13-16 April in Adelaide.

South Australia will host all nine matches in Round Five of the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season as the first Gather Round launches in Adelaide.

Adelaide Oval will host six Gather Round matches while Norwood Oval and Mount Barker’s Summit Sports and Recreation Park will host the remaining three matches.

Footy fans can travel free and easily with their Gather Round game day ticket on Adelaide Metro bus, train and tram services to Adelaide Oval, Norwood Oval and Summit Sport and Recreation Park, Mount Barker.

Footy Express bus, train and tram services are available across metropolitan Adelaide, including dedicated regional bus services operating to and from Gather Round matches at Adelaide Oval.

Dedicated bus shuttles to and from the AFL Hub at Elder Park, King William Road will operate for all matches at Norwood and Mount Barker.

Limited parking is available in Mount Barker at seven park ‘n’ ride locations with a transfer/shuttle service operating to Summit Sport and Recreation Park for the 12.40pm Brisbane v North Melbourne game on Friday 15 April.

Adelaide Oval will host Adelaide and Carlton from 7.10pm Thursday 13 April in a blockbuster Gather Round opener.

Port Adelaide takes on Western Bulldogs at 7.20pm in the second game of the first double-header on Saturday 15 April. Collingwood and St Kilda conclude the four-day footy festival in the second double-header from 4.20pm at Adelaide Oval on Sunday 16 April.
