SOUTH AUSTRALIA – SPENCER GULF – LUCKY BAY – DREDGING OPERATIONS

Mariners are advised that dredging operations are underway in Lucky Bay in an area bounded by the following coordinates:

33° 42’ 33.18” S 137° 02’ 15.78” E

33° 42’ 49.32” S 137° 02’ 41.88” E

33° 42’ 34.62” S 137° 02’ 54.54” E

33° 42’ 24.18” S 137° 02’ 36.12” E

Dredging operations are during daylight hours only and day shapes will be displayed in accordance with COLREGS.

A marked surface dredging pipeline will be within the described area marked with buoys marked every 20m.

It is expected that that dredging operation will continue until late May 2023.

Mariners are advised to exercise caution when navigating in this area.
