South Australia – Spencer Gulf – Myponie Point -Oceanographic Equipment Deployed

Mariners are advised oceanographic monitoring equipment has been placed on the seabed approximately 2.6km north west of Myponie Point. The approximate WGS84 position is 33°49.20’S, 137°37.14’E. It is expected the equipment will be removed by November 25th 2022.

The oceanographic equipment items are bottom mounted and are not marked with a buoy or light.

Mariners are advised to exercise caution and avoid anchoring or dragging the seabed in the vicinity.
