Plate combinations and sizes
If you have a car with the original R or S Series number plate, you can keep the number plate and display it on another vehicle registered in your name by paying the re-allocation rights fee.
Or if you just like the look of the R or S Series plate, you can order any available combination that has not been on a registered vehicle within the past 5 years. This requires a once only fee which includes re-allocation rights. You can choose to have it manufactured as per the original or with a corporate plate (additional fees apply).
Note: Replacement R and S Series number plates will be manufactured with 'South Australia' embossed, unless you nominate otherwise and pay the re-allocation rights fee.
