Plate combinations and sizes
Premium plates are available in white characters on black background or black characters on white background.
White characters on black background
Premium plates with white characters on black background are issued sequentially from XX 000A. These plates are only available as premium slim (display on the front) and premium standard (display on the rear).
Black characters on white background
Premium plates with black characters on white background are issued sequentially from AA 000A. You cannot upgrade this series to white characters on black background.
You will receive a set with premium slim (display on the front) and premium standard (display on the rear). You can request combinations of slim (front)/square (rear) and square (front and rear). If you want to change your plate to a different size (after the first issue), there is an additional cost of $56.

Price
White characters on black background plates (XX000A series) have a once off fee of $220.
Black characters on white background plates (AA000A series) have a once off fee of $150.

How to order
Available online, at any Service SA customer service centre or when you purchase your vehicle from a participating EzyReg authorised new car dealership.
Plate collection
Premium plates ordered online take approximately 10 working days to make. When ordering online you can collect your plates from your nearest Service SA customer service centre or we can post your plates for an additional fee.
Please bring your current registration papers and existing plates. We will need to allocate your new plate to your vehicle before you can collect them.
