The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure is delivering on major initiatives to transform Adelaide's public transport network into a vibrant, state of the art and sustainable system, providing faster, cleaner, more frequent and efficient services for commuters.

The Rail Revitalisation program, encompassing the electrification of Adelaide’s metropolitan rail network, is an exciting high-profile project and one of the most complex transport projects ever undertaken by the South Australian Government.

A number of opportunities exist for suitably qualified and experienced engineers and technical officers within our Public Transport Services Division.  These roles will have the opportunity to work as part of an expert team to help deliver the State's multi-billion dollar Rail Revitalisation program.

  • Signal Maintenance Engineers
  • Communications Engineers
  • Track/Civil Engineers
  • Environmental Officers
  • Rail Engineers
  • Electrical Engineers (Traction Power)
  • SCADA Engineers
  • Rollingstock Engineers
  • Electronic Technical Officers
  • Electrical Technical Officers
  • Senior Project Managers
