Undergraduate Vacation Employment Program

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure offers exciting paid work placements for tertiary students over their summer break through its Undergraduate Vacation Employment Program.

The program occurs over an eight to twelve week period between November and February each year and is available to all tertiary students who are undertaking an undergraduate degree.

Students who are currently studying in one of the following disciplines are encouraged to consider a placement with the Department:

• Civil engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Traffic engineering
• Marine surveying
• Traffic systems management
• Project management
• Naval architecture
• Transport planning
• Architecture
• Valuation

Some opportunities may also be available for:
