Manager, IS Operational Services

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure is looking for an experienced manager to provide high level leadership to a large team of staff in the delivery of operational support and front line services. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, experience in change management, cultural change, and the management of IT functions, and will play an essential role in meeting critical high level business needs.

Essential Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in work health and safety and a minimum of five years experience leading safety management systems is essential. A tertiary qualification in management and three years experience in managing staff is essential. A tertiary qualification in injury management is essential.

Special Conditions: The role has been classified as a position of trust. The incumbent is subject to a satisfactory criminal/history check in line with departmental policies and procedures. Some work outside of normal hours and some intrastate travel involving overnight absences may be required.

Finance Officer Budgeting

Lease and Property Administrative Officer

The department is seeking to appoint a property professional to provide efficient and effective management of a portfolio of Government owned properties covering a range of asset types. The role will report to the Manager Lease and Property Administration and will manage a range of contracts, agreements and leases from an operational financial and procedural perspective, maintain up to date and accurate information in the property data base, meet all statutory obligations relating to the properties, manage and report on capital works projects within the portfolio and undertake negotiations regarding property management and operational issues on behalf of the Department and the Minister. The role will deliver excellence in service delivery, contribute to strategic outcomes, contribute to economic development and job creation and promote a culture of one government.

Essential Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Property, Business or a relevant discipline is desired.

Manager, Safety

The Manager, Safety is accountable to the General Manager, People and Performance in supporting the achievement of the department's safety and injury management vision. This is a leadership role within the department. They will also contribute to the work of and support the Director, Safety Coordination.
