Licensing Support Officer

The Licensing Support Officer, has a critical role in the administration, coordination and delivery of driver licensing services for Aboriginal people living in remote communities. The role is also responsible for sustaining successful working relationships with remote Aboriginal communities and service providers and to maintain the integrity of driver licensing services through quality and compliance controls..

Special Conditions: Extensive work outside normal hours and intrastate travel involving overnight absences in remote areas of South Australia will be required where extreme conditions may be encountered and accommodation will vary greatly and may not be of a standard available in regional towns and capital cities. This role has been classified as a position of trust. The incumbent is subject to a satisfactory criminal history / record check in line with departmental policies and procedures.

Construction Manager, Government Fit Outs

Vacancy No: 2016-11293
Temporary Appointment for up to 12 months

The Construction Manager, Government Fit Outs is responsible for the commercial integration, professional management, delivery, commissioning, defect management, post occupancy reviews and relevant policy input and procedural documentation for whole-of-government accommodation fit outs. The role includes working with state government agencies to develop their brief, working with lease negotiators to identify, integrate and document works including Landlord Works into lease proposals, initiating the appropriate contracting and procurement methodology of consultants and builders to manage all project risk with a focus on cost, quality and program of all fit out projects. Collaborating with DPTI business units to achieve compliance with government procurement policy is a key feature of the role.

Essential Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in construction, project management or related discipline is highly valued.

TMC Operator

The Operator Traffic Management Centre (TMC) is responsible for providing a range of monitoring services relating to traffic control and reporting systems. The role is also responsible for the facilitation of early responses to incidents and initiating appropriate corrective actions to minimise the impact of traffic disruptions.

Fraud and Corruption Control Officer

The Fraud and Corruption Control Officer is responsible for coordinating the department's fraud and corruption control resources and approach to fraud and corruption prevention, detection and response. The position will oversee the effective implementation of DPTI’s Fraud and Corruption Control Framework, including the ongoing review of the policy and plan, ensuring that this is well understood and requirements actively upheld and implemented by employees at all levels of the department. The position will be involved in the development of related policies and procedures and assist in identifying additional control strategies for local fraud and corruption risks by providing specialist consultancy services and expert advice to line management. It will assist in fraud investigations and determine whether improvements are required to improve fraud and corruption control strategies.

Team Leader, Legislative Assurance

The Team Leader, Legislative Assurance has the primary responsibility for leading and coordinating the department’s legislative assurance processes.
